Fox News has announced that Fox Business host Lisa “Kennedy” Montgomery and Fox News host Jesse Watters will host their All-American New Year coverage starting at 10 PM ET. At 8 PM, chief national correspondent Ed Henry, contributor Lisa Marie Boothe, and Dean Cain will host a Countdown to 2018 two-hour special.
Fox News’s coverage will run from 8 PM until 1 AM. Kat Timpf and Richard Fowler will be amongst the crowds in Times Square while Bryan Llenas will report on security measures throughout the night.
Griff Jenkins will be in Nashville, Tennessee for the night while Carley Shimkus will report from Miami, Florida.
Fox News will also have virtual reality offerings for the night as Lisa Boothe will host a 360 degree Times Square experience.
Unlike CNN’s New Year offering, Fox News typically has musical performances. This year there will be live performances from Andy Grammer and Lauren Alaina.
This year is a promotion for Watters and Kennedy. In the past, they hosted the earlier coverage and the main coverage was hosted by Kimberly Guilfoyle and Eric Bolling.
Excellent. Love watching and listening to both Kennedy and Jesse. I will be watching Fox on New Years Eve. Fox News and it hosts are great, except Shepard Smith and many times Chris Wallace. Shepard needs to join Megan Kelly at the loser NBC channel.
Jesse and Kennedy are both very sharp and very funny. Should be a great time!
Will finally have a reason to stay up on Nye!
