TKNN Reports for September 8, 2012

Hello, and welcome to TKNN Reports.

Yesterday, the unemployment report for August was released. Only 96,000 jobs were added, below analyst expectations of 120,000. The unemployment rate, however, fell from 8.3% to 8.1% because people dropped out of the job market. Mitt Romney called the report “disheartening.” While President Obama said the market needs to improve.

President Obama appears to have gotten a convention bounce, except not against Mitt Romney. President Obama’s approval rating is up to 52%, which is at heights not seen since the killing of Osama bin Laden.

Well, thank you for joining us on TKNN Reports. Please join us again next week.
