Political Jungle for August 27, 2012

Hello, and welcome to a special edition of Political Jungle, Countdown to the Convention.

Now, today the convention officially started, Reince Priebus, the chairman of the RNC, convened the convention, and then immediately put the convention in recess until tomorrow. TKNN of course has live coverage tomorrow, we’ve got some surprises up our sleeves, and the live blog will be up like today. Now, as a result of the first day being canceled, some speakers have been canceled today. One such person was Donald Trump, who had a act planned where he would fire an Obama impersonator. Ann Romney will be speaking tomorrow, in addition to Governor Chris Christie who will be delivering the keynote address. Even though speaking events were cancelled, Newt Gingrich’s Newt University went on as planned. Newt University teaches about Republican ideas, and how to use them in your hometown. Before we go, on this Political Jungle, sorry no Through the Looking Glass, just wanted to say some things. Tomorrow, Daily Briefing: Convention Edition, will be hosted by Heather. There will be Political Jungle, and we will have analysis of the day’s events. So that, the live blog, TKNN your companion for the 2012 Republican National Convention.
