Now, today the convention officially started, Reince Priebus, the chairman of the RNC, convened the convention, and then immediately put the convention in recess until tomorrow. TKNN of course has live coverage tomorrow, we’ve got some surprises up our sleeves, and the live blog will be up like today. Now, as a result of the first day being canceled, some speakers have been canceled today. One such person was Donald Trump, who had a act planned where he would fire an Obama impersonator. Ann Romney will be speaking tomorrow, in addition to Governor Chris Christie who will be delivering the keynote address. Even though speaking events were cancelled, Newt Gingrich’s Newt University went on as planned. Newt University teaches about Republican ideas, and how to use them in your hometown.
