President Obama has three interviews tonight as the United States begins to send 300 advisors to war-torn Iraq. Kate Bolduan, co-anchor of CNN’s New Day; Mika Brzezinski, co-host of MSNBC’s Morning Joe; and Norah O’Donnell, co-anchor of CBS’s CBS This Morning; will all sit down with President Obama for separate interviews. All three have political coverage experience. Bolduan was a congressional correspondent for CNN previously and co-anchored the 6 o’clock hour of The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer. Brzezinski’s show, Morning Joe, is a political commentary show. O’Donnell served as CBS’s Chief White House Correspondent prior to joining the anchor team. O’Donnell is also a substitute host for Meet the Press. Brzezinski’s interview will air Monday morning on Morning Joe. Both Bolduan and O’Donnell’s interviews will air during the 6:30 half hour, in addition to Monday morning. The 6:30 half hour is occupied by The Situation Room and CBS Evening News, respectively.
UPDATE: The original article said that Crossfire would be preempted tonight. A reader has emailed and pointed out that Crossfire has not aired on Friday for a few months. TKNN regrets the error.
