Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius is resigning, she was one of the few original Cabinet Secretaries remaining. After the botched roll-out of the Obamacare Marketplace website, many saw her days as numbers even as the administration publicly stood by her. President Obama plans on nominating Office of Management and Budget Director Sylvia Mathews Burwell. This means the Administration has two upcoming Senate confirmations, although they will go through the Democratic Senate with a weakened Republican minority. It is possible that she left earlier than planned due to the possibility of a Republican-controlled Senate.
