Liz Cheney, the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, has announced she is going to run against Sen. Mike Enzi (R) in the Republican primary in 2014. She announced her decision in a YouTube video. In that video she said, “Instead of cutting deals with the president’s liberal allies, we should be opposing them every step of the way.” In the political spectrum, Cheney is often seen as a libertarian, which would seemingly ally her with Sen. Rand Paul. However, Sen. Paul has said that he sides with Sen. Enzi.
