A new poll from Public Policy Polling shows that conservatives in Georgia want to replace Sen. Saxby Chambliss, and that he may be vulnerable in a primary. Early polling shows that Sen. Chambliss will most likely have no trouble winning, a general election. However, he must survive any and all primary challengers, which he may have trouble doing. While he could manage to beat Rep. Allen West (R-FL) and RedState.com blogger Erick Erickson, he would be defeated by former presidential candidate Herman Cain. Erickson had said he was considering a run, but decided against it. Rep. West had been suggested to move to Georgia to continue his political career after he leaves the House.
