It has been confirmed that Newt Gingrich will suspend his bid for the Presidency. Newt Gingrich has been called on to leave the race for quite a while, and he has faded from relevancy since Rick Santorum dropped out. He focused quite a bit on winner-take-all Delaware, and lost by eighteen points. Newt Gingrich also said that he will continue campaigning until he drops out next week as a citizen. He also said that he will endorse Mitt Romney. This now only leaves Mitt Romney and Ron Paul, however most people regard Ron Paul as a movement candidate. Debates were a strong part of the reason that Newt Gingrich was able to continue so long, and when the debates stopped, so did his momentum.
