The Democratic National Convention is going to begin soon. Preparations are underway to prepare Charlotte for the convention, and unlike the Republicans, two arenas are being prepared. The indoor arena will be be used for most of the convention, while the other outdoor arena will be used solely for Vice President Biden and President Obama’s speeches. After the convention, the general election will officially be underway. Democrats are hoping that the convention defeats any Romney bump, and possibly bumps President Obama. They will also talk about building the convention from the middle class.
The Obama campaign has been preparing their supporters for the convention. The campaign was holding a fundraising contest where a lucky winner would get to go to the convention. The campaign is also holding watch parties for President Obama’s acceptance speech.
