Tonight is a big fundraising deadline, so if any political groups have your email, this is one of the days you’re probably regretting that. In attempt to get more donors, the President’s campaign included a photo of President Obama donating to himself. This is the first time President Obama has donated to himself, but for some past candidates it was usual. Former presidential candidate Jon Huntsman donated over $5 million to his campaign. President Obama donated $5,000 to the campaign, and is also the only person that can use ‘The United States of America’ as his employer and his occupation as ‘President.’
