At the annual CPAC Chicago, they held a straw poll to see who was favored to be Mitt Romney’s running mate. GOP freshman Senator and Tea Party darling Marco Rubio won. However, Marco Rubio continually denies being that he will be the running mate, going as far to name former Florida Governor Jeb Bush instead. Governor Bush has said Marco Rubio should be the running mate. Also at CPAC Chicago was, but not limited to, Rick Santorum, Michele Bachmann, Herman Cain, and Senator Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire. Rick Santorum spoke of about keeping Mitt Romney to his previously stated conservative views and spoke about his new pac, Patriot Voices.
