For Democrats, 2014 Depends on Organizing for Action

For Democrats, 2014 can be a good one or a terrible one. They can easily lost the Senate, and reverse the gains from 2010 in the House. But, they could also win the necessary seventeen seats to give Nancy Pelosi the gavel, and keep their Senate majority. History is against them, however. The infamous six year curse is working against Democrats. But, they do have something history-breaking. The Obama campaign. Earlier, the Obama campaign announced they would restart as Organizing for Action. While the group will primarily focus on furthering the President’s agenda, insiders say they will be used during 2014 elections. While the group cannot run election ads, the grassroots can do whatever they want. Democrats are hoping to make this into a group that will further the President’s agenda, and nothing makes that easier than a favorable Congress.
