UN Ambassador Susan Rice tried to improve relations today by meeting with a group of Senators. She, along with the acting CIA director, went to talk about Benghazi, or more specifically, what she said about Benghazi. After the attacks, Ambassador Rice went on several Sunday morning shows and discussed the attacks. Several of her statements have now been proven to be untrue, or misleading. She said, among other statements, that the Administration diminished al Qaeda, and that the protests were a result of the infamous anti-Islam YouTube video. Ambassador Rice’s visit has increased speculation that she will be chosen as President Obama’s Secretary of State in his second term.
