Same-Sex Marriages Resume in California

Following the Prop 8 Supreme Court decision on Hollingsworth v. Perry, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled that same-sex marriages can resume in California immediately. The first wedding was today with two of the plaintiffs from the court case getting hitched. California Attorney General Kamala Harris officiated over the wedding. Later that day, another two of the plaintiffs got married with Los Angeles mayor Antonio Villaraigosa officiating over the wedding.
