Rep. Barney Frank got married Saturday to his longtime partner, Jim Ready. This is the first same-sex marriage wedding for a member of Congress. Barney Frank is known for advocating gay rights, and financial regulations. He is half of the 2010 law, the Dodd-Drank Act. The wedding was officiated by Massachusetts governor Davel Patrick, and attended by several members of Congress, including Nancy Pelosi. Massachusetts was the first state to legalize same-sex marriage.
