International Correspondents Call for Journalists Release

Several international correspondents have written and signed a letter that calls on Egypt to release detained al Jazeera journalists. Producers Mohamed Fahmy, Baher Mohamed, and correspondent Peter Greste have been detained in Egypt for over two weeks without being charged. Signatures include correspondents from CNN, The Guardian, BBC, and CBS News. Ghassan Abu Hussein, the spokesman for the al Jazeera Media Network, says that “this is all part of a larger antagonistic campaign against us.”
