Fox Business Network announced on Thursday that the fourth season of Strange Inheritance will debut on January 15 with a special two-day season premiere on that Monday and Tuesday. The debut date was announced by FBN president Brian Jones.
Jones said in a statement, “As our top-rated original primetime program, we are thrilled to have Strange Inheritance back for its fourth season. With many of the episodes being viewer-submitted, it is clear that Jamie has the innate ability to connect with our viewers and share these amazing stories of inheritance.”
“Throughout the years, I have crisscrossed the country numerous times and met some truly incredible people with heartwarming stories of history and inheritance,” host Jamie Colby said in a statement. “It has been an honor and a privilege to share their experiences with our viewers who not only have become our family, but helped put together some of the awe-inspiring stories we’ll showcase this season. I am beyond excited for the debut this January.”
The fourth season boasts 26 half half episodes and two new episodes will air every Monday at 9 PM. The show encourages viewer submissions for stories of unique inherited items and this season those efforts have paid off as more than one-third of the episodes were submitted by viewers.
The primetime reality series is FBN’s flagship non-news program and even spawned a spin-off series, Strange Inheritance Unpacked, in 2015. CNBC has also taken to taped series to air after business hours and currently airs a mix of original series, like Jay Leno’s Garage, and acquired series, like ABC’s Shark Tank.
