As TKNN has reported, Turner Broadcasting has been offering buy-outs and laying off employes as the company aims to streamline as part of the Turner 2020 initiative. CNN’s Lisa Desjardins, who has served as CNN Radio’s congressional correspondent until the service shut down, was laid off by the company. Desjardins was one of many cuts at the DC bureau. In response to her termination, she made a video showing inside the bureau and the goodbye emails. She even makes two word clouds, which show two very different pictures of CNN employees. She even takes bureau supplies, such as pencils, a tote bag, and a Rick’s List mug.
