New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s speech was full of puns, and later cursing. “Let me be completely ‘frank’. This is one of my favorite traditions,” the mayor began. Later, “I ‘relish’ it so much.” He spoke of the “dog fight”, the “dogged” contestants, and how only one will be the “wiener.” Then it got interesting as the mayor went off script. He said it was impressive how many they got in one sentence. But, it got ‘spoiled’, as Mayor Bloomberg asked, “Who wrote this —-?” I don’t know if we can ketchup to him. Some are not happy Mayor Bloomberg cursed, but, he was only being frank.
