White House Waits For Supreme Court

The Supreme Court will be ruling this week on the Affordable Care Act, one of President Obama’s signature achievements. Advisor and family friend Valerie Jarrett told the National Association of Black Journalists that the White House is prepared for the Court’s ruling. The Affordable Care Act, dubbed Obamacare, was passed in 2010. Republicans were against it, and all voted it against. Republicans rode the anger against the law to victories in 2010, taking back the House and almost getting the Senate. The main anger at the law, and the reason it’s in Court, is the Individual Mandate. However, not all parts are unpopular. Some parts, such as kids can stay on their parents’ plan until age 26, are supported by Republicans too. However, they are endangered due to the lawsuit. The Court could rule in favor of the Administration, just get rid of the mandate, or get rid of the law completely.

When the Court rules, stick with TKNN.
