election nightTomorrow night could be a quite long night if the control for the Senate comes down to tight races and Alaska. So for our readers, we have provided an hour-by-hour (or half hour) breakdown of the poll closings.

Note: Some states have multiple closing times. We have included the last closing time because that is the earliest that states will be called for one candidate or the other. Also, all times are Eastern.

Finally, state names in bold signify states that have Senate races designated as toss-ups.

7 PM: Kentucky, Georgia, Vermont, Virginia, Indiana, South Carolina

7:30 PM: North Carolina, Ohio, West Virginia

8 PM: Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, the District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma

8:30 PM: Arkansas

9 PM: New York, Louisiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Kansas, Texas, Nebraska, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona

10 PM: Iowa, Montana, Nevada, Utah

11 PM: Washington, Oregon, California, Hawaii

12 AM: Alaska
