Terry McAuliffe has released his first ad for the Virginia gubernatorial race. McAuliffe, who is a Democrat, is running as a businessman in the race. Some have said that he is using the Romney playbook, run as a successful businessman who can fix government and is a job creator. The Democratic nominee did run back in 2009, but lost in the primary. Before that, he was the national c0-chair for both Clintons’ presidential runs and was a chair of the Democratic National Committee. He is facing Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli in the general election later this year.
