A new poll from the Democratic-leaning Public Policy Polling shows President Obama up by eight points in the battleground state of Nevada. Also, Shelley Berkeley is up four points over Sen. Dean Heller. Most polls show President Obama leading Mitt Romney, however the Senate race is closer. Sen. Heller was selected to finish out Sen. John Ensign’s Senate term after he resigned. Sen. Heller also recently criticized Mitt Romney over his “47%” remarks. The Nevada Senate race is quickly evolving into a toss-up state as Democrats try to gain seats in the Senate.
