The latest poll from ABC News and the Washington Post has Mitt Romney and President Obama in a statistical tie. 49% of respondents support President Obama while 46% support Mitt Romney. The 3-point difference is within the margin of error, 3.5 points. The two are tied as for who voters think will handle the economy better, at 47%. In addition to the earlier results, the ABC News and Washington Post poll shows more Democrats than Republicans are enthusiastic about voting for their candidate, and by a difference of eighteen points.
