Mitt Romney Can Now Enter General Election Mode

Now with Rick Santorum out, the general election can begin. Although Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul would disagree, it is safe to assume that Mitt Romney will be the Republican nominee. Mitt Romney is now entering a mode that he has tried to enter the whole time, general election mode. For the beginning of the primary season Mitt Romney did not point much of his attacks at his opponents, saving that fire for the President. However, candidates such as Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich forced him to take some time off the President. However, that burden has stopped. For both sides, the gloves are off and the general election has begun. Fears of a brokered convention have evaporated, and Mitt Romney’s chance at the nomination has almost hit the ceiling (100%). President Obama said that he would not have campaign rallies until the Republicans got a nominee, and he is set to start having rallies in May. So, let the games begin.
