Straw Poll Results From CPAC

Mitt Romney won the CPAC/Washington Times straw poll, with 38% of the vote. Rick Santorum got second place with 31% of the vote. Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul got the third and fourth place respectively, with 15% and 12% respectively. The results may be surprising to some because Mitt Romney has often had problems with conservative voters. The voters said that they voted for Mitt Romney because they felt he could beat President Obama.
