Mitt Romney, the Romney Victory Fund, and the RNC raised over $100 million in June. Politico first reported it and the RNC’s Rick Wiley took to Twitter to confirm it. This is so far Mitt Romney’s best month, but not a record-breaking month. Then-Senator Obama set a new record of $150 million in September 2008. Mitt Romney first beat President Obama in May, and may do so again this month. The campaign was aided by the Obamacare decision, which angered Republicans and sent them to their checkbooks. President Obama is not used to losing in the fundraising race, he hasn’t lost since 2007.
