Sen. Scott Brown Dupes Media

Outgoing Senator Scott Brown (R-MA) unintentionally duped the media today, giving false hope that the a deal surrounding the fiscal cliff has been reached. Sen. Brown took to his Twitter page and wrote that he was going to review a plan by the President. It is unknown what plan Sen. Brown was referring to, as both sides denied the report. No plan has been publicly announced, either. However, the media, which has had to rely on sources, jumped on Senator Brown’s tweet as a confirmed report. CNN even blasted the news out to its app users. However, the unknown part is the Democratic sources CNN was referring to. But, as we now know, Sen. Brown was wrong.
