Olympic Controversy Brings Bipartisan Criticism

The uniforms that American athletes in the Olympics are wearing were made in China. Now that has infuriated some, with bipartisan support, or criticism. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said all the uniforms should put in a pile and burned. Now it appears, Sen. Reid has an unlikely ally, Donald Trump. The U.S. Olympic committee is privately funded, and went to China because it was cheaper. Sen. Reid’s suits are made in America, while Donald Trump’s line of clothing is made in China. The uniforms were designed by Ralph Lauren. Since the ceremonies are about two weeks away, it is unlikely that the uniforms will be hanged. As a result of the controversy, the 2014 Olympic ceremony uniforms will be made in the U.S.
