CNN anchor Jake Tapper will interview former FBI Director James Comey on April 19. The interview will air live at 4 PM during Tapper’s The Lead.
The interview will touch on the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s e-mails and potential ties between the Trump presidential campaign and Russia.
Comey’s book, A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies & Leadership, will be released on April 17. It is currently the second highest best selling book on Amazon and was only recently pushed off the top spot.
Comey’s media book tour, at least as so far announced, is only a few shows. Comey’s first interview will be with ABC News chief anchor George Stephanopoulos on April 15. Comey will then be a guest on Stephen Colbert’s Late Show on April 17.
