WATCH: Congressional Leaders Appear Uncomfortable

Today, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and his wife, Coretta, were posthumously awarded the Congressional Gold Medal. Leaders Harry Reid, Mitch McConnell, Nancy Pelosi, and Speaker John Boehner all came together to celebrate the achievements of the civil rights icon. At one point, the crowd sang We Shall Overcome, which was a frequent protest song for the Civil Rights Movement. CSPAN recorded the political leaders joining hand-in-hand and the awkwardness that came along.
