Omarosa Named to White House Role

Omarosa Manigault, a former contest on The Apprentice, has been given a job as part of President-Elect Trump’s new administration. Manigault has been hired to be the director of communications for the Office of Public Liason. She had previously worked in the Clinton administration in Vice President Al Gore’s office.

Manigault was fired in the first season of The Apprentice by Mr. Trump, but returned to the program multiple times, and has since made an appearance on several other reality shows. Manigault was one of Mr. Trump’s most vocal African-American advocates during the election, during which she acted as Mr. Trump’s director of African-American outreach. Manigault has a PhD. in communications and is a church pastor in addition to her other activities.

Omarosa caused controversy when shortly after the election she said, “Let me just tell you, Mr. Trump has a long memory and we’re keeping a list.” The campaign then denied any sort of enemies list.
