No Bounce From Paul Ryan

A new poll from Gallup shows there is no bounce from Mitt Romney’s pick of Rep. Paul Ryan. Gallup’s daily tracking poll had Mitt Romney leading President Obama 47-45, an improvement from 46-45, but still within the margin-of-error. The picking of Governor Sarah Palin and Senator Joe Biden did not provide a bounce to their respective candidate. Many analysts say that Mitt Romney picked Paul Ryan to shake up the race, and to try to gain some ground. There was also news when polls show that Representative Paul Ryan was the second-lowest received vice presidential pick after now-Vice President Dan Quayle. Gallup polling shows that the vice presidential pick gave more bounce to candidates back in 1996, 2000, and 2004.
