For last night’s White House Correspondents Dinner, Vice President Joe Biden appeared in a video with Veep actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus who was seemingly in character as Vice President Selina Meyer for most of the skit. In the video, Louis-Dreyfus and Biden ate ice cream in the White House kitchen, drove in Biden’s yellow sportscar, created headlines for Fox News, Politico, and The Washington Post, and, finally, got 45 tattoos. The video featured cameos from House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, First Lady Michelle Obama, and Speaker John Boehner. Finally, Louis-Dreyfus took an opportunity to mock House of Cards by speaking directly into the camera as character Frank Underwood often does. This is the second time a WHCD video has referenced House of Cards. Last year’s video followed then-Whip Frank Underwood.
