road to the white houseAdding fuel to the flames of a possible presidential run, CBS has announced that Vice President Joe Biden will appear on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert on September 10, the show’s third night.

The program has been booking big gets for its two weeks and many of the guests are political. Jeb Bush will be on the first guests for the show as he is booked for its inaugural program September 8. Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer and United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon have also been announced as guests for the show.

The announcement comes as Vice President Biden weights a third presidential run. Numerous polls have shown Hillary Clinton to be vulnerable in key battleground states as well on questions of trustworthiness. Polls have also shown the Vice President doing stronger than Clinton against Republicans. However, Biden is considering the presidential run while his family still recovers from the death of his son, Beau Biden. Biden has said that he needs to consider whether he has the “emotional fuel” to make another presidential run.

The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon recently announced that Donald Trump will appear on the program on September 11. Jeb Bush also appeared on that program after he announced his presidential run.
