CNN’s John King: Scott Brown Preparing for NH Run

On CNN’s Inside Politics Sunday morning, host John King reported that former Sen. Scott Brown (R) has began reaching out for a Senate run in New Hampshire. If he wins the primary, he would face Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH). Previously, however, Brown had served in the Senate representing the state of Massachusetts. However in 2012, Sen. Brown was defeated for re-election by Elizabeth Warren. King reported that despite his phone calls, Republicans in the state are not taking him seriously, at least for now. Speculation has been rampant over the past few months over whether or not Sen. Brown will run and he has continued to deny the rumors. Until he announces a run, King reports, activists will not be so responsive.
