Vice President Biden Teases Presidential Run

Vice President Joe Biden teased a presidential run to reporters on Monday, saying he was looking at a 2020 presidential run. Biden passed on a 2016 presidential run after his son, Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden passed away from cancer.

A reporter asked if the Vice President was “going to run again.” He responded, “Yeah, I am. I’m going to run in 2020.”

A reporter then responded, “For what?” Biden said, “For president. What the h**l, man.”

The reporters then said they were “going to run with that,” to which the President responded, “That’s okay. That’s okay. No, I’ve enjoyed every minute of my time here in the Senate. It’s a great feeling to come back. I love this place.”

While some have argued that Biden was joking, the Wikipedia article for the 2020 presidential election has been updated to include Biden under “Candidates who’ve publicly expressed interest.” Biden is currently the only candidate in the section.
