Gov. Patrick Endorses In MA Senate Primary

Governor Deval Patrick of Massachusetts has endorsed Elizabeth Warren to be the party’s nominee to take on Senator Scott Brown. Even though most people assume Elizabeth Warren to already be the party’s nominee, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee does, there is another woman facing Elizabeth Warren in the primary. Marisa DeFranco has been running against Warren and is now Warren’s only competitor. If DeFranco gets at least 15% in the convention, she will go against Elizabeth Warren in a primary. Latest polling has DeFranco at 6%. While latest polling has Elizabeth Warren tied with Sen. Scott Brown, Marisa DeFranco is losing by twenty-one percentage points. Governor Deval Patrick has endorsed Elizabeth Warren in an email to supporters, which was then forwarded to Elizabeth Warren supporters.
