Hums Abedin Seperates from Anthony Weiner

In the wake of new allegations that her husband has continued sexting females, Huma Abedin, a close aide to Hillary Clinton and the vice chair of the former Secretary of State’s presidential campaign, has separated from her husband of over six years, former Representative Anthony Weiner.

“After long and painful consideration and work on my marriage, I have made the decision to separate from my husband. Anthony and I remain devoted to doing what is best for our son, who is the light of our life. During this difficult time, I ask for respect for our privacy,” Abedin said in a released statement Monday.

The Washington Post and the New York Post both reported on Weiner’s third time being caught sexting. The first time was while he was a rising star in the House of Representatives, but he was forced to resign over the scandal.

During his run for mayor of New York, Weiner was found to be sexting again which derailed his campaign and his political comeback. Abedin and Weiner’s struggles during the episode were chronicled during a documentary made about Weiner’s run. During this time, Weiner had adopted the alias of “Carlos Danger.”

This time, Wiener was sexting a female from the West, who is apparently a Donald Trump supporter. One of his images also included his four-year-old son, Jordan.

Weiner deleted his Twitter account over the latest incident and the New York Daily News and NY1, a New York City local news channel, both cut ties with him. Weiner had been making a comeback in terms of seriousness and had been invited as a guest on several television programs.

Once again, Weiner destroyed his luck just as he was moving on from his previous scandal.
