Former congressman Anthony Weiner has announced he will run for the Democratic nomination for Mayor of New York. He announced the run in an online video late Tuesday. Weiner was once considered a frontrunner for the position, but then a lewd tweeting scandal rocked him, forcing the congressman to resign his seat in Congress. He has said that he will focus his campaign on second chances and the middle class. A few weeks ago, Mark Sanford, who too was in a sex scandal, won a campaign where he spoke of second chances.
