Bob Woodward Tackling Trump White House in Next Book

Publisher Simon & Schuster announced on Monday night that they will publish Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward’s latest book, Fear: Trump in the White House on September 11, 2018. According to Simon & Schuster, the book will focus on how decisions are made in the White House.

“Fear is the most acute and penetrating portrait of a sitting president ever published during the first years of an administration,” said Jonathan Karp, president of Simon & Schuster, in a statement. “This is the inside story on President Trump as only Bob Woodward can tell it.”

The Trump Administration has been a gold mine for authors with books focused on President Trump regularly sitting on the bestsellers lists throughout the year. However, Fear is one of two high profile books to report on the inner workings of the Trump White House. The other is Michael Wolff’s Fire and Fury which dominated the bestseller lists and news cycle earlier this year. Ultimately the book’s attention faded after questions were raised about the accuracy of some details. Whereas Michael Wolff is known for his habit of reconstructing conversations while Woodward, half of the famous Watergate reporting duo, is known for his intensive investigative reporting.
