FIRST ON TKNN: CNN has announced their coverage plans for President Donald Trump’s first State of the Union address. Lead political anchor Wolf Blitzer, Anderson Cooper, and chief Washington correspondent Jake Tapper will anchor the special coverage from Washington starting at 7 PM ET.

Chief political correspondent Dana Bash will report from the Capitol’s Statuary Hall. Statuary Hall is a popular position for journalists to stand as politicians walk by to attend the address and Jake Tapper was stationed there in 2014 for the State of the Union. Per usual, chief national correspondent John King will be at the Magic Wall.

Political director David Chalian will cover the instant poll results of the speech while chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta will report from the White House and senior congressional correspondent Manu Raju will report from Capitol Hill. Chief political analyst Gloria Borger and senior political reporter Nia-Malika Henderson will provide analysis. Commentary will be provided by Van Jones, David Axelrod, David Urban, Rick Santorum, and Jennifer Granholm.

CNN is also live-streaming the special coverage and not requiring a login. The livestream can be accessed via CNN’s website, apps, or CNNgo. CNN Politics will also have digital coverage of the speech which will include analysis, fact-checking, original digital video and data takes.
