fourth estate newCNN announced four new analysts have joined the network as political analysts.

Margaret Talev will be a political analyst for the cable news network while still also working as Bloomberg’s senior White House correspondent. Talev has regularly appeared on CNN’s Inside Politics since its inception and is also currently serving as president of the White House Correspondents Association.

Molly Ball is a political writer for the The Atlantic and also regularly appears on Inside Politics.

Matt Viser also serves as deputy Washington bureau chief for the Boston Globe. He has frequently appeared on CNN in the past, most infamously when he appeared on The Lead and the lower third stated, “Alt-Right Founder Questions If Jews Are People.” The image went viral as reporters on Twitter tried to point out that Viser was not said alt-right founder.

Brian Karem is a White House correspondent for Playboy and the Sentinel newspaper group. He was most recently in the news for confronting then-White House Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders when she criticized CNN and the news media for their coverage of Donald Trump’s campaign and potential Russian collusion. He defended the news media’s coverage and said, “Any one of us, if we don’t get it right, the audience has the opportunity to turn the channel or not read us, but you have been elected to serve for four years at least. There’s no option other than that.” Since then, Karem has appeared periodically on CNN.
