Three Leave Politico


fourth estate newThree men left Politico over the course of yesterday. Two are editors and one is Politico’s Senior Political Reporter.

Dan Berman, who served as White House editor, is moving to the National Journal. He will serve as assistant managing editor.

Deputy managing editor Gregg Birnbaum announced on Twitter that he was resigning from Politico after four-and-a-half years. Birnbaum edited the Dylan Byers blog among other areas.

Finally, the Huffington Post reported that Alex Burns left Politico. Neither Burns nor Politico commented on the departure, but Burns was rumored to be in talks with the New York Times for a reporter position. Burns served as Senior Political Reporter and has been with Politico since 2008.
